Walden Acoustic Baritone B1-E

This is a rare and unusual guitar, which is best researched by looking at the several reviews on YouTube.
Walden guitars are no longer in existence, but their guitars made in the far east used the best materials and were made to an exceptionally high standard.
Made of solid spruce and rosewood, the instrument is tunes B to B - that is 5 semitones below standard.  When played, especially finger style, this guitar has a piano-like quality, where the notes hang and sustain.  The offset sound hole means that the bracing of the front can be redesigned to allow the front to flex and vibrate, despite the additional tension of the heavier strings.
This guitar was made in 2 models.  The pure acoustic model (B1) had no electrics.  This is the more desirable 1B-E with the Fishman Prefix Pro system which does an excellent job direct into a PA or other suitable amplifier. An amp suited to acoustic guitars gives excellent results, as also does a bass amp, with suitable EQ settings.
This guitar has seen very little work.  I have owned it from new, and apart from some home use and a couple of recording sessions, it is as new.
It is in the original hard shell case, which has a couple of exterior scuffs, but generally is in very good condition, and affords excellent protection, and has maintained the condition of the guitar from new.
Please contact me with any queries, and it can be viewed by arrangement in Cambridge.
