70s Ibanez
Concord 647-12
This is a totally outstanding example of this stunning Japanese made Ibanez 12 string from around 1976, in amazing condition.
As a playing instrument, this has wonderful playability and a deep rich sound from the solid spruce top and the mahogany back and sides. The neck is straight and the intonation as good as it gets on a 12 string. The tuners are all in excellent condition with a smooth and positive action.

The guitar is from an early run as it has the "hockey-stick" headstock, copying the Fender design. Fender objected to this design, and Ibanez then redesigned with a straight end to the headstock. This example is from the early period, and is considered rarer and more desirable

What makes this example truly outstanding is the condition. The gloss finish is perfect bar a tiny mark -like a bruise on the front - see photograph. The quality of the finish can be seen in the reflections in the photograph.

This is a museum quality example, and will surely increase in value in the coming years.
