Jolana Tornado

This is a very early example of the Czech built Jolana Tornado from the early 60s.  It is identified as early 60s by the gold sparkle insets on the pick ups.  This guitar was one of the best Soviet block guitars, and is all original.  It has some wear and the 5 pin din output socket has been bypassed for a standard rim mounted jack socket.  The pots are somewhat scratchy, and the switches at times rather unreliable, but operate and is all original. The Bigsby-like tremelo unit works well. The original string damper is missing.

I bought this guitar in Vilnius in or around 1990, and have never really used it.
