Aria 1960s Acoustic F120 White
This is in amazing condition given its age.
This is an unashamed imitation of a 000 Martin, even down to the style of the Aria script on the head. The all white finish is very unusual and original, and in remarkably good condition.
It appears to be made of solid wood and sounds like a mahogany/spruce combination. It is light weight and easy to play, responding well in both standard tuning and DADGAD/dropped D.
Essentially it is all original with the exception of the bridgepins which are high quality modern brass replacements. The photos show no truss rod cover, but a replacement white/black one will be fitted.(This has now been fitted)
The guitar is in remarkably good condition. The end of the headstock has some damage, but the paint is excellent with a couple of tiny chips on the body, and some light surface marks visible in some lights, but which do not detract from the finish. There is very limited wear on the (original?) frets. All of the binding (plain black on the back and B/W/B/W/B on the front) are in great condition. There are no signs of repairs.
Dating this model is difficult. The label on the interior lists the maker as Arai, and I think they changed this to Aria ariound 1966. I can find no reference to F120 in white, but I am certain it is a factory finish.
