This is an American Tele in classic Blonde, made in the Corona plant but with and AMX serial number suggesting that some of the work was done in Mexico.  It is however a full US spec.  The Californian designation shows that it has a stratocaster pickup at the neck position.  I have used this guitar for teaching and for some gigging.  It is entirely original.  There are a couple of chips in the paint on the upper bout - they are hardly visible from the front. the feel action and sound are all exctly what you need in a Telecaster.  There is some limited fret wear, but it plays beautifully.
